These little balls are a good source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, including omega-3s from the pumpkin seeds, walnuts and flaxseed. A couple of these are great as a morning or afternoon snack, and handy to have in your bag in case you get hungry while out and about!

You'll Need:
½ cup almonds
½ cup walnuts
3 tablespoons flaxseeds
1½ tablespoons pumpkin seeds
1½ tablespoons sunflower seeds
¼ cup shredded coconut
8 pitted dates
Method:
Add all ingredients to a food processor or good blender, and blend until finely chopped and mixture sticks together when pressed.
Roll spoonfuls of the mixture into balls and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Makes about 12 balls
