Hi, I'm Sandra!
I’m a nutritionist who loves helping my clients take charge of their health by supporting them to make healthier nutrition and lifestyle changes. I also present seminars and cooking demonstrations for groups, write evidence-based nutrition articles, and provide nutrition services on a consultancy basis for other businesses.
Nutrition wasn’t always a priority for me when I was younger, but after attending a nutrition seminar several years ago, I realised the the huge impact it can have on our overall health. I was intrigued to know more and eventually decided to leave my career in the travel industry to complete a degree in nutrition.
I've found that most clients already understand that their current nutrition and lifestyle choices aren't contributing to good health, but the main challenge tends to be in actually implementing healthier changes. This is why I not only provide nutrition advice, but we also explore barriers to behaviour change and together create strategies to overcome these barriers.
I love seeing my clients reach their health goals and share their enjoyment as they notice positive changes, both inside and out.
MY CREDENTIALS
I hold a BSc in Public Health Nutrition from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, and am currently completing a MSc in Human Nutrition at Deakin University.
New evidence is emerging all the time within nutrition and health, so I keep updated by following current research and have completed additional courses on specific areas within nutrition including gut health and the microbiota, eating disorders, nutrition for pregnancy and diabetes, as well as exercise science and psychology.
I have a special interest and experience in the areas of gut health, women’s health and nutrition for children. I can also help with nutrition advice for general health and wellbeing.

My Mission
My aim is to create interest and excitement around healthier food choices,
and to spread the message that healthy food doesn’t have to be boring!
I hope to get more people interested in knowing what's in their food, thinking about what they eat and the effect it has on their health, energy levels and overall wellbeing.

My Philosophy
When it comes to nutrition I don't believe that there’s a one-size-fits-all approach - every "body" is different.
Instead, I prefer to tailor my recommendations to suit each client’s requirements, lifestyle and health goals, using evidence-based nutrition advice.
I don’t believe in quick-fixes, pills, shakes, restrictive diets or deprivation.
I believe instead that healthy eating, combined with an active lifestyle, is
the key to overall good health.
